Polygraph Examinations

The PolyIntelCo Truth Verification Division is operated by a retired federal agent and an experienced Polygraph Examiner. All of our Polygraph Examiners are licensed professionals trained in the art and science of Psychophysiological Detection of Deception (PDD) using the polygraph.

Polygraph Examiners verify the truth of a specific statement to a high degree of validity in criminal cases, employee theft, domestic relationship or private issues, government security cases, internal affairs, attorney client requests, law enforcement issues and some pre-employment screening in accordance with federal law and State board licensure.

Truth verification and lie detection resolution using the polygraph has proven to be a very effective tool in on-going investigations. It is the only instrument legally allowed for this purpose in Texas. All PolyIntelCo Examiners are required to attend regular continuing education courses in the latest polygraph methodology. The firm is presently vetting independent contractor examiners in 20 major markets for periodic assignments.

Polygraph is not used in applicant screening except for peace officers and fire fighters. The DoubleCheks method includes a proven effective work ethic and personal values questionnaire followed by a fast scoring method that reveals significant and factual information about the employee. This includes drug and alcohol abuse, convictions, employee theft, and performance issues. Professional interviewing and our proprietary systems can help business owners in employee vetting with a consistent process that identifies qualified and trustworthy people.
